GEA Procomac Packaging is the packaging division of GEA Procomac Spa. It designs and manufactures high quality customized handling and packaging systems for the beverage, food and general packaging field. GEA Procomac Packaging has its own production facility located in Collecchio near Parma, Italy, close to the GEA Procomac headquarters. GEA Procomac Packaging, employs around 100 people. Products include: conveying systems for containers, packages, pallets and relevant automation, de-palletizers, palletizers (traditional or robotized types). Besides its own products, GEA Procomac Packaging handles both engineering and purchase/resale risk management of all the other equipment that is used for the completion of an integrated 'turnkey' packaging line (i.e. packers, labellers, etc.). GEA Procomac Packaging stands out today in the market of packaging systems integrators thanks to its willingness and capability to understand and fulfil the needs of different customers, providing tailor-made solutions. The mechanical and electrical departments of GEA Procomac Packaging design and implement revisions and improvements on existing facilities, either on GEA Procomac lines or even on lines originall installed by manufacturers.
