Michael Andersen has, after almost 10 years as CFO of GEA Process Engineering,
decided to pursue new opportunities within GEA Group.
Tom Wrensted will
therefore become the new CFO in GEA Process Engineering.
Tom is a 44
year old Dane who holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration. He
started his career as a Financial Controller in Ecco in 1993. In 1996, Tom
joined Danfoss, where he held different financial management roles and lived
both in the Philippines and in Japan. Tom decided to move to ISS Healthcare as
Finance Director in 2002 in Denmark, but soon took on a new international
challenge at Brødrene Hartmann A/S (a packaging company listed on the Danish
stock exchange) in 2004 relocating to their North American operations as VP of
Finance & Administration for three years. In 2007, Tom was promoted to CFO
and member of the Executive Board of Brødrene Hartmann A/S and has been part of
a successful turnaround of the Hartmann Group.
Tom will join GEA
Process Engineering as soon as he is released from his duties at Hartmann.
“Michael Andersen has been instrumental to the successful development
of GEA Process Engineering and it is quite natural for him to move on to new
and bigger responsibilities with GEA Group. I am, therefore, very pleased that
Tom Wrensted will join us as the new CFO. Tom is an experienced CFO who I am
convinced will be a valuable addition to our management team”, says Anders
Wilhjelm, CEO & President of GEA Process Engineering.
